Everyone has probably heard of the Bugatti Veyron at least once in their lifetime, some diehard fans may have even heard of the Bugatti Chiron. But I can bet no one has heard of the purely track focused single-seater “Bugatti Vision GT” (Gran Turismo).
Vehicles built by Bugatti are known worldwide to be record breakers in the top speed department. The Vision GT however takes this to the next level with its active aerodynamic body and a huge “Sharkfin” beginning from the top of the car and meeting the carbon-fiber wing in the back. Its massive front splitter and side-skirts produce immense amounts of downforce at high speeds. Its body language also resembles that of the Bugatti Chiron like the headlights and front grill giving it a menacing look.
The rear end of this car is nothing to scoff at either, with its Quad Exhaust, a single strip of LED as its break lights with exhausts placed at both ends and its massive rear spoiler the rear end looks just as menacing as the front.
The interiors of this car look like they’re straight out of a sci-fi movie. The all digital screen behind the wheel and the speedometer and tachometer on the wheel itself gives it a very unique look. The digital screen shows the “G-forces” the car pulls around corners. The steering wheel also contains gears “Neutral” and “Park” as well as the engine “Start/Stop” button. The centre dash area contains options such as 2 levels of traction control as well as the button for the reverse gear. As you can see even the interiors of this car are all track focused.
By now all of you know its aggressive exteriors and impressive interiors, but this car is so much more than just its looks. Its massive Quad-turbocharged 8.0-litre W-16 is mated to a 7-speed Dual-clutch transmission which together are capable of putting out 1,650hp and 1,165 lb-ft of torque. The Vision GT also has all-wheel drive system and a mid-engine layout.
The Bugatti Vision GT is one of a kind as there is only one of it in the world and has had two owners so far. It was originally just a video game car but Bugatti decided that wasn’t enough and went and built a working car which was purchased by a Saudi prince. The Vision GT will most definitely go down in history as one of the coolest cars ever built.
